Frequently Asked Questions
Find answers to common questions about Aidelly — getting started, publishing, connections, teams, billing, and more.
Getting Started
How do I connect my social media accounts?▼
Go to Workspace Settings → Social Connections and click the platform you want to connect. You'll be guided through each platform's authorization flow. Once connected, your accounts appear in the platform picker when creating or scheduling posts.
What is the best way to set up my brand profile?▼
Your brand profile helps Aidelly generate better content. Go to Brand Profile and fill in your brand name, voice/tone, key products or services, and target audience. The more detail you provide, the better the AI content will match your style. You can attach documents and upload logos too.
How do I create my first post?▼
Click "New post" in the sidebar or click a date on the content calendar to open the composer. Write your caption, pick the platforms you want to post to, attach media if needed, and click Schedule or Publish now. Posts can be scheduled days or weeks in advance.
Can I post to multiple platforms at once?▼
Yes. When creating a post, select multiple platforms from the platform picker. You can customize the caption, media, and settings per platform, or use the same caption across all of them. Aidelly will automatically adjust the post for each platform's requirements.
Publishing & Scheduling
What happens if I schedule a post but my connection drops?▼
Aidelly stores scheduled posts on your workspace, so they won't be affected by a temporary connection drop on your browser. The posts will publish automatically at the scheduled time as long as your social account connection is still active in Workspace Settings.
Can I edit or delete a scheduled post?▼
Yes. Click the post on the calendar, and you can edit the caption, media, or settings before it publishes. If you want to delete it, click the post and select Delete. Once a post publishes to your social account, you'll need to delete it directly on that platform.
Why is my post failing to publish?▼
Common reasons include: (1) media upload is still in progress, (2) caption exceeds the platform's character limit, (3) required fields are missing (e.g., YouTube title), (4) your social account connection is broken. Check the error message on the failed post in your calendar for specifics.
Does Aidelly support video uploads?▼
Yes. You can upload videos directly when creating a post, or attach them from the Media Library. Video upload and processing happens in the background, so you can close the tab while your video uploads.
Content & Automation
How do I use AI to generate post captions?▼
Open Chat from the sidebar and describe what you want the post to say, include platform, tone, and any specific details. The AI will draft captions you can refine and then move directly into the composer for scheduling or publishing.
What is Auto-Recycle and how do I set it up?▼
Auto-Recycle automatically reshares your best evergreen posts at regular intervals. When creating or editing a post, scroll to the Auto-recycle panel and set how often and how many times you want the post to be shared again. This keeps your best content circulating.
How does Repurpose work?▼
Repurpose transforms content from one format into another (e.g., blog post into Twitter thread, video into carousel). Go to Repurpose, paste or upload your source content, pick the destination format, and let the AI create platform-native versions. You can then schedule or publish directly.
Can I set up inbox automations for comments?▼
Yes, in Inbox Automations you can create rules that auto-respond to comments with specific trigger words or patterns. You can set these to auto-send or require approval first. This is useful for lead qualification or FAQ responses.
Analytics & Insights
How do I track my post performance?▼
Open Analytics from the sidebar. The Overview tab shows top posts by engagement. Click Posts to see per-platform metrics like reach, impressions, and engagement rate for individual posts. You can filter by date range and platform.
What metrics does Aidelly track?▼
Aidelly tracks reach, impressions, engagement, clicks, likes, comments, and shares per platform. The exact metrics vary by network (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.) based on what each platform provides via their APIs.
Can I export analytics reports?▼
Yes. In Analytics, you can download reports as PDF (for agencies with white label) or screenshot the insights. Agency plans also get access to client-facing monthly reports that can be customized with your branding.
Connections & Integrations
What platforms does Aidelly support?▼
Aidelly integrates with Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, X (Twitter), Threads, Pinterest, Bluesky, Mastodon, and Google Business Profile. You can manage all your accounts from one dashboard.
Why is my Instagram or Facebook connection broken?▼
Connection breaks are usually due to: (1) password changes on the social platform, (2) enabling 2FA without re-authorizing, (3) platform tokens expiring. Go to Workspace Settings → Social Connections and reconnect the account by re-authorizing.
Can I connect multiple Facebook Pages or Instagram Accounts?▼
Yes. You can connect multiple accounts from the same or different platforms. Each account is selectable when creating posts, and you can publish to any combination of them at once.
Teams & Workspace
How do I invite team members?▼
Go to Workspace Settings → Members and click Invite. Enter the email address and select the role (Admin or Member). An invitation will be sent, and once accepted, they'll have access to the workspace.
What are the different team member roles?▼
Primary owner: the billing owner — pays for the workspace, manages the plan, and can transfer or delete it. Admin: full workspace access — manages team, brand, integrations, and content, but not billing. Member: day-to-day access — creates and publishes content, but can't change workspace settings or invite people.
How do approvals work?▼
Admins can require that certain posts be approved by designated team members before publishing. Posts in the approval queue show up in the Review section. Approvers can comment, request changes, or approve the post to go live.
White Label & Agencies
What is white label?▼
White label lets you rebrand Aidelly with your agency's name, logo, colors, and custom domain. Your clients see your brand, not ours. Each client gets their own workspace, and you control the entire experience from onboarding to reporting.
How do I set up white label branding?▼
Go to Workspace Settings → Brand Settings (for white label workspaces). Upload your logo, set your brand colors, choose your product name, and configure your custom domain. You can also set custom email templates for client communications.
Can I set different pricing for different clients?▼
White label workspaces are separate billing units, so each can have its own plan. You manage client workspaces and pricing independently. Some agencies price retainers to their clients while using a fixed platform cost internally.
Billing & Plans
What is the difference between plans?▼
Launch is for solopreneurs starting their online presence. Scale is for founders and teams ready to fully automate and expand. Agency is for agencies managing multiple clients at scale, including white-label options. Compare plans at aidelly.ai/pricing or in your workspace Billing settings.
How do I upgrade or downgrade my plan?▼
Go to Workspace Settings → Billing and select a new plan. Upgrades take effect immediately and are prorated. Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing cycle.
What happens if I exceed my plan limits?▼
Most plans have soft limits that trigger a warning. For publishing limit, you can upgrade your plan. For AI credits, you can purchase additional credits separately. You won't be blocked from using Aidelly, but extra usage may incur charges.
Do you offer refunds?▼
We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee if you are not satisfied. After that, subscriptions renew monthly or annually depending on your billing cycle. Contact our support team for questions about your subscription.
API & Developers
What is the Aidelly API?▼
The Aidelly API lets you programmatically create, schedule, and publish posts, manage accounts, and retrieve analytics. The REST API is documented at /docs/api with OpenAPI reference and examples.
Do you have an SDK?▼
Yes, we offer TypeScript/JavaScript SDKs that wrap the REST API and handle authentication. Visit /docs/api for SDK installation and usage examples.
How do webhooks work?▼
Webhooks let you subscribe to events like post publishing, comment arrivals, or schedule changes. When the event happens, Aidelly sends a signed request to your webhook URL. Set up webhooks in Workspace Settings → Integrations.
