Reports
Generate, customize, and export branded reports that summarize your performance across platforms and time periods.
What Reports is for
A report turns your analytics data into a shareable, branded PDF. Use it to:
- Share with clients — white-label reports with their branding, not yours
- Document performance — monthly snapshots for historical comparison
- Present to stakeholders — polished, full-color PDF with charts and insights
- Prove ROI — quantify the results of your content strategy
Each report is scoped to a workspace and time period, then customized with workspace branding before download.
Before you start
- Connect at least one social account so you have analytics to report on (Workspace Settings → Social Connections).
- Wait at least a few days of activity so the report has meaningful data.
- (Optional) Customize your workspace branding — the report uses your logo, colors, and name (Workspace Settings → General).
Step 1 — Open Reports
- In the left sidebar, click 📊 Reports (under Insights or Analytics section, or from the main menu).
- The Reports dashboard shows existing reports and a Generate report button.
Step 2 — Configure the report
- Click Generate report.
- A form opens with these options:
- Report title — defaults to workspace name, but customize for the recipient (e.g. "September Content Performance").
- Date range — pick Last 7 days, Last 30 days, Last 90 days, or a Custom range.
- Platform filter — include all connected accounts or select specific platforms.
- Data sections — toggle on/off: Summary metrics, Top posts, Platform breakdowns, Audience insights, Recommendations.
- Recipient — name and email (optional; used for internal notes, not embedded in the PDF).
Step 3 — Customize branding
- Below the form, the Branding card shows your workspace logo and colors.
- Click Edit branding to override for this report:
- Upload a custom logo (PNG, JPG, SVG)
- Pick accent colors (for charts, headers)
- Add a footer text (e.g. agency name, disclaimer, contact info)
- Preview updates instantly in the thumbnail.
White-label tip: if generating for a client, toggle Client-view mode so the report displays their branding instead of your workspace branding.
Step 4 — Generate and download
- Click Generate report.
- Aidelly compiles the PDF in the background (usually 30–60 seconds for a month of data).
- The report appears in the list with a Download button.
- Click Download to save the PDF locally.
Async processing: large datasets or many platforms may take a few minutes. A notification appears when the report is ready.
Step 5 — Access and share
- Generated reports stay in your Reports list for 90 days.
- Click Download anytime to retrieve the PDF.
- Click Copy link to generate a shareable, password-protected link (optional; expires in 7 days by default).
- Click Delete to remove a report immediately (cannot be undone).
Scheduling recurring reports
(If available in your plan) Set up a recurring report:
- Click Schedule report.
- Pick a frequency (Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly).
- Choose platforms and date range (always rolling — "last 30 days").
- Aidelly auto-generates and emails the PDF on your selected day.
Common pitfalls
- The report looks empty. Not enough data for the selected date range — try expanding the range or waiting a few more days.
- A platform's numbers don't match my dashboard. Aidelly's API data may differ slightly from the platform's own reporting (timing, dedup logic). The trends will align.
- The PDF download failed. Try again — temporary backend glitches happen. If it keeps failing, check your workspace timezone (Reports timezone-align to it).
- Client-view mode shows my logo. White-label mode requires your workspace to have white-label enabled (Account → White label). Admins-only.
What to do next
- Export the PDF to email to clients or stakeholders
- Schedule recurring reports if your plan supports it
- Drill into specific platforms in Analytics to understand the underlying data
